Penny Ward MFHT – Sports Massage Therapist

I qualified as a massage therapist in 1996 as part of an HND in business management Holistic and Beauty Therapies.

After working in the industry for a few years i decided to set up on my own and qualified in sports and remedial massage. I began to work more and more with physiotherapists, Osteopaths and chiropractors and have learnt so much from them over the years.

I’m fascinated with the human body, how it works, how it can come back and heal with treatment and rehabilitation after trauma and injury and how it adapts to cope with stress and strains, compensation patterns etc, so much so that I also qualified as a pilates instructor and PT.

My sports massage profession has led me to meet so many truly wonderful, inspirational people over the years and for that i am so grateful everyday to have a job that I love, look forward too with enthusiasm and could never get bored with.
